YCP Member NDA

What you are signing is a document stating that you will abide by the following five rules:

1. Do not tell anyone the dates or locations of events.
2. Do no contact the press about the event.
3. Do not report on YCP events, either as a member of the press, or as a hobby like blogging.
4. Do not call law enforcement about a minor issue at an event. For example, if you see a woman push her husband, tell a host rather than calling 911.
5. Do not screenshot, record, share, or otherwise display any YCP member's profile or content to anyone who isn't a paying member of the YCP online community.

Why?

People need discrete places to express their sexuality. Let us use an example. Imagine a bisexual female, married to a man, but also an elementary school principal. If she were to put a profile on a dating website, there is a high probability of her sexuality being "outed." The only place she can meet like-minded people to express her sexuality is at a lifestyle event.

Some attendees would lose their careers if they discovered that they attend swinger parties. Some attendees would lose custody of their children if their vindictive ex-spouse found their attendance. The stakes for maintaining discretion couldn't be higher. Every one of our members is responsible for keeping this discretion.

Feel free to tell friends about Young Couples Party, we understand your excitement, but do respect rule 1 above.

And:

You represent that, if you are a member of the press (including television, radio or online), you register as a guest of these events only in your private, individual capacity. You warrant that, if the foregoing statement proves to be false, you are here at the direction of your employers and are acting within the scope of your employment: that you are violating the rights of the guests and management to privacy under common law and the U.S. Constitution and that an appropriate amount of liquidated damages for any published report made which portrays or describes the activities of any guest or management is twenty-dollars ($20) times the number of readers or viewers of any medium which publishes the report, which reflects a reasonable estimate of probable compensatory damages for loss of privacy, including humiliation, emotional distress, necessity to pay legal fees, loss of employment or advancement, and other injuries, the amount of which is uncertain. This amount shall be awarded to each guest or manager named in the report or described in such a way as to permit the identification of the guest or manager by application of the description to publicly available information.

Given the statements above, if you violate this NDA, we will assume you've intentionally tried to harm every member and will take appropriate action.

If you feel an exception should be made to this NDA agreement, for example if you'd like to write a Reddit review of YCP, please contact a host.
